1 quart pre-cooked White beans (I cook whole crock pots of beans at once and then freeze them in one quart containers.)
2 Tbsp. butter
1 medium onion
1 pound ground goat meat
1 clove of garlic
cumin
powdered chili pepper
2 Tbsp. butter
1 medium onion
1 pound ground goat meat
1 clove of garlic
cumin
powdered chili pepper
- Melt the butter in a thick bottom saucepan.
- Chop the onions into roughly half inch pieces.
- Saute the onions in the butter.
- When the onions are clear, add the beans.
- Start the meat browning in a frying pan.
- Chop the garlic small and add to the meat.
- When the meat is browned add it to the beans and onions.
- Stir well and add cumin and chili powder to taste.
- My secret ingredient is smoked sea salt. If you have some, add to taste.
- Cook for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
